More
PRP Academy offers a range of training courses to everyone. The choice is extensive; training focuses on various aspects of plasma lifting, which will be useful to representatives of various specialties. Each online course is divided into several lessons. Information is presented in the most simple and understandable language. Of course, there is specific terminology, but since all the students are holders of a medical education, it is difficult to call this a minus.
Upon completion, the student will be issued a certificate. It will confirm his qualifications for the employer and any supervisory authorities. Such a document will allow to engage in PRP therapy and expand the capabilities of the doctor. The mark-up for the procedure can be hefty, so the courses are especially useful for private practitioners and employees of non-governmental institutions.
The essence of the method
The abbreviation PRP stands for Platelet-rich plasma. A rough translation is autologous conditioned, or platelet-rich plasma. It is a concentrated plasma protein. It is obtained from whole blood and purified from red blood cells using a centrifuge. Further, the material is enriched with platelets.
The alternative name of the technique – plasmolifting – is actually a trademark. The inventor is the Russian scientist R. R. Akhmerov.
How is conditioned plasma used? In the form of injections. The drug is injected into the area requiring stimulation. Plasma triggers tissue regeneration. This is a light version of stem cells that can be used to treat a wide variety of diseases. If stem cells are the heavy artillery, then PRP is needed in cases where the healing would end on its own. He lacked only a push that would shift the balance in the right direction and start the process.
Plasmolifting is used extremely widely. It is in demand in almost all areas of medicine. First of all, it is dentistry, gynecology and urology. Side effects are almost absent – they are typical for all injections and are leveled by the doctor’s experience. There is some pain, but pain from injections is completely normal. Safety has been confirmed by clinical studies.
