In particular, the main difficulty was that oily spots were formed on the surface of the film that destroyed all adhesive properties.
In 1946, the company decided to use vinyl and rubber and received a product, which to this day is in high demand. In almost 70 years of various improvements and editions of island 17 times, it was modified and is released from a heterogeneous type of materials. Ultimately, a high -quality product was obtained, which is characterized by a number of useful qualities: adhesion, elasticity, excellent dielectric indicators, resistance to all kinds of negative influences of weather conditions, increased humidity, chemicals, oil products.
Nowadays, a wide variety of electrical equipment requires a certain methodology in the production of installation and construction work where it is required to protect contacts or reliable fixation. Also, each device and place of application involve a special approach to each category. There are many modifications of islands:
Mica – used to isolate electric power cables and windings of concomitant equipment, it is heat -resistant and refractory.
Fiberglass – holds up to 200 degrees Celsius, absorbs resins and varnishes.
From polyamide – get the lifting of the abolished strength.
Epoxy – distinguished by flexibility, wear -resistant. Suitable up to 155 ° C.
And the most extensive common electrical insulating tape from PVC – made of polyvinyl chloride plasticity (Categoryizolenta). On the one hand, an adhesive of natural rubber coating is applied to it, all substances are not toxic and have excellent protective characteristics. It is also divided into several types, but the main parameters are the same for everyone: it does not support combustion, that is, self -extinguishing, is well glued and combined with planes, elastic when stretching, has water -repellent capabilities, is not subject to chemical effects and oils.
