On the territory of Ukraine, construction volumes are significantly reduced, as well as related work. The worst results in terms of this issue were recorded on the territory of Transcarpathia. Only for the period of the last 2012, the majority of Ukrainian enterprises reduced construction activities by more than 14 percent, if we draw a parallel with the indicators of 2011, experts state with reference to official statistics.
Throughout 2012, construction work was carried out in the country, the estimated cost of which amounted to about 62.4 billion hryvnias, if we carry out an appropriate comparison of repairs and repair measures with their cost.
About 80 percent of this volume of all completed construction and reconstruction work is allocated for technical re-equipment, construction and reconstruction of existing buildings and other real estate. A little more than 13.5 percent.
At the same time, suburban construction is also developing: such facilities as a topas septic tank, autonomous sources of water supply, energy supply, and so on are massively mounted.
The leading position in construction and repair activities continues to be held by the capital region, which accounts for works with a total cost of more than 13.6 billion hryvnia. The second line of the rating continues to confidently hold the Donetsk region with a cost of 9.3 billion hryvnia. The third line of the rating belongs to the Dnipropetrovsk region, which accounts for 4.7 billion hryvnia.
At the same time, experts note that in the new 2013 the total number of construction works in Ukraine will continue to decline further. Now almost the entire construction market in the country is completely frozen. Housing construction is completely stopped. There are no forecasts from analysts yet.
